Backstreet Boys - Everybody
I wonder how many people have used that as a title and felt pretty clever.

I know I posted another Devine song recently but I'm just really excited about the new album and his upcoming show, ok? Plus, this song is heartbreaking-ly good.

Pretty sweet deal I found at Winners. An Equipment blouse for $79.99. Usually, they're around $200. They only had medium in black but I compared it to the x-small in a different colour and the fit was basically the same, maybe just a tiny bit bigger.
Edit: I forgot the second 'p' in equipped. For shame.

So last night I went to the Bon Iver concert at the Sound Academy in Toronto and it was asfdoifsdg amazing. Here's a video that I took but it can't even compare to seeing them live.
Bon Iver - Beach Baby
The show was way too short, only like an hour and fifteen minutes. It literally felt like I blinked and a song would pass. Even the opener, The Rosebuds, were pretty good. I had to get my ticket from a scalper but it was worth every penny.

I've always thought 3D TVs were kind of silly with having to wear those ugly glasses. Why not just wait until they come out with some that don't require them? And they're especially annoying to people who already wear glasses, e.g. me, but I may just have to switch sides now because I definitely wouldn't mind sporting these Giles Deacon ones.

From my fave album of the year. Not surprising but it lives up to all the hype. Insanely beautiful and not a song on there to dislike.

I got to see this flick a few days before it comes out (won a contest), and I gotta say, I wasn't expecting very much since it was free after all, but it was pretty good. I mean, Kevin Spacey was in it so of course, it had to be good. I liked how not all the jokes took an entire scene, some were just subtle comments that a character would make. Charlie Day was the stand out for me. I laughed at the peanuts being on sale for way longer than I should have. Maybe a little too relatable.
Jennifer Aniston looks real good in this role too. Must be all that bronzer and smart water.

I know I'm quite late in posting about the Toronto shows that New Kids on the Block & Backstreet Boys did on June 8 and 9. I wasn't going to originally because I had way too many feelings but it was honestly one of the most fun nights I've ever had. Considering that the other concerts I've posted about were indie bands, this seems a little weird to put on here but I don't even care because it was just so good. It literally blew my mind.
Now I'm debating whether to go to Hamilton to see them in August. Can you just imagine NKOTBSB x3 in one summer? That would literally be heaven. /shameless fangirling

I went to see it last night on opening day because I just couldn't wait. My friends had mixed reviews about it but I liked it. It was pretty long, around two and half hours. Not as much action as I was expecting but it really focused on character development. So much Xavier and Magneto man love. All those little moments they shared; the simultaneous tear, “What do you know about me?” “Everything”, how Erik made everyone stay back so he could have his own private time with Charles on the beach (if you haven't seen it yet, this sounds like it could be misinterpreted but it really can't. Their whole relationship is based on sexual attraction). It was so upsetting to see them part ways in the end. AND WHY WAS EVERYONE SO GOOD LOOKING? Like, hot damn.
Ahhhh, this movie is so good. Kristen Wiig is literally perfect in this. She's funny, she gets to sleep with Jon Hamm, she's a baker, and she meets the sweetest, most adorable cop. Oh and her hair. Everyone's hair. Hair porn everywhere [ok, maybe not Melissa McCarthy's but she makes up for it in funnies (I've been doing Gilmore Girls marathons and can I just say that she is completely different in this and it's pretty amazing)]. Flawless movie is flawless.
LOVE THEM.

As a broke college student, I'm always looking for cheaper alternatives so I've substituted Kate's outfit with more affordable finds. Instead of Proenza Schouler, I put a classic satchel from Asos, and instead of Isabel Marant boots, there's Sam Edelman. Zara should be coming out with an even better copy of them soon too, so look out for those. I feel like I should end this on an inspirational note, something like, thus proving that style doesn't rely on wealth...so there.

I saw this movie a couple months ago and re-watched it tonight. I absolutely adore it. My favourite scene is when Andrew Garfield's character accidentally gets high and starts dancing in the club. He's so timid and lovable the rest of the movie that when he breaks out, it's beautiful to watch. The way he moves his body is so awkward and strange, and funny but just an fyi, this movie will make you cry.

I hate that name (for living without shampoo) but I'm going to give this a try. I'll have to ease into it so I'm going to start washing my hair with shampoo once a week, while washing with water and using corn starch the rest of the time. No fancy dry shampoos for me.
